- I am over 55 but my partner is younger, will he/she be able to live with me in a William Leech 55+ apartment?
- Yes, of course. Your partner is unable to buy a property on their own if they are not in this age bracket, but as a joint property this not a problem at all.

- What's the difference between a William Leech 55+ property and a regular home on the market?
- At William Leech 55+, we have thoroughly researched the 55+ market to see what homebuyers in this age group really want from a home. We found that releasing capital accrued on the family home to spend on retirement, travelling, increased security and reducing the burden of maintaining a family home, were at the top of the agenda – the homes have been designed with these priorities in mind.

- I own a second home abroad, can I be sure my home will be safe while I’m away?
- Security is a top priority, which is why every one of our developments has CCTV, a secure entry door system and a personal alarm in each apartment.

- How is William Leech 55+ any different from a retirement home provider?
- The purpose of William Leech 55+ is to provide homes for people that will enable them to live more. Obviously 55 and over is a large age group and people within it may vary in mobility, but each apartment belongs to the homeowner, assisted living can be opted for or this home can purely be a base for those who travel extensively – the choices and needs of the homeowner really determine the life they lead.

- I am only 55, why would I choose to live in a William Leech 55+ apartment?
- Our research suggests, from the age of 55 many people termed ‘empty-nesters’ have watched their children move from the family home and are now left with a large property that isn’t necessarily required. By downsizing their home to a William Leech 55+ apartment, and speaking with one of our financial representatives, they can ensure that from this moment on the money they have accrued on their family home can be used to their advantage and from this moment on, they can enjoy their money and the extra free time managing a smaller property offers.

- What is the point of having communal rooms in each development?
- From our research we found that people over 55 really value spending their free time with friends and socialising with new people, which is the reason we have included the communal rooms in the design of each complex.

- Do I have to socialise with other residents in the communal rooms, as I am quite a private person?
- Each homebuyer has their own self contained apartment to live in, so the communal areas are just an extra if people want to use them to socialise in.
